CLASSROOM FURNISHINGS
The majority of furniture purchased by Pleasant Street Preschool is chosen because it is made out of solid wood, sustainably harvested from managed farms – not from intact forests.
The rugs in our classroom are all 100% cotton, so not only are they more environmentally friendly – they are also machine washable – which means they require no harsh chemicals or dry cleaning- both of which are harmful to the planet!
(Added bonus: spills and accidents are no big deal!)
