Work Experience: I have always loved working with children! As a teenager I worked as a baby-sitter, then during college I worked as a Nanny, After-school Tutor and Fund-raising Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity. Since graduating I have worked as an After-school Program Director, Preschool Teacher, Preschool Assistant Director, Youth Counselor and English as a Second Language Teacher as well as working at the Lexington Public Library.
Profile: I am married to my best friend from high school and we have a lovely, chubby baby boy. I enjoy reading, taking my dogs for walks, going out to dinner with friends and listening to NPR.
Fun Fact: I love foreign travel. So far I have been to Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, West Africa, Jamaica, Spain & Portugal.
Primary Teacher
Name: Ms. Kristin

Education: BA in Elementary Education from Valdosta State University
Work Experience: I worked as a server during college and did my student teaching and practicum at several schools including G.O. Baily Elementary (Kindergarten), Sallas Mahone Elementary (First Grade), and Moulton Branch Elementary (Fifth Grade). I came to PSP in the Fall of 2010 to teach preschool and will now be teaching the Kindergarten and First Grade Class!
Profile: I am 26 years old. I have a brother and a sister that both attend the University of Georgia. My favorite hobbies are shopping, running and relaxing on the beach.
Fun Fact: My favorite show is Grey’s Anatomy.
Pre-K Teacher/Assistant Director
Name: Ms. Melissa
Hometown: Winchester, KY
Education: B.S. in Family Studies from UK, Director’s Credentials from Morehead State University
Work Experience: I have enjoyed working with children for many years! I started out baby-sitting and working as a church nursery attendant as a teenager, then worked as a Nanny during college. After I graduated I worked at a juvenile detention center and a youth services center before beginning my teaching career. Most recently I held the position of Assistant Director at a large childcare center in Lexington.
Profile: I love spending time with my family and spoiling my nieces and nephews. I’m an avid reader and enjoy everything from children’s literature to non-fiction. I also like collecting shoes and vintage jewelry.
Fun Fact: I have a cat named Maxie and she is seventeen years old!
Preschool Teacher

Education: Emergency Certification to teach K-12
Work Experience: For many years I worked as a substitute teacher at Paris Elementary School where I eventually took a position as an Office Assistant and then went on to be a Teacher’s Assistant for nine years. Most recently I have been teaching the preschool class at a local childcare center.
Profile: I have been married for 33 years. I have six children, fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild! I love spending time with my family and working in the garden.
Fun Fact: I have always loved Elvis Presley!
Nursery School Teacher
Name: Ms. Lyndsay

Work Experience: I began baby-sitting as a teenager and have worked as a Swim Coach for the past six years. I also teach Sunday School, Children’s Church and Vacation Bible School as well as being the Youth Group Leader at Old Union Christian Church.
Profile: I was born and raised in Paris, KY and grew up going to the lake on the weekends – I still love to go as much as possible! I have one older sister and a precious, baby nephew. I like being outside, exercising and going to the lake.
Fun Fact: Someday I want to travel to Italy and Australia.

Work Experience: I have worked for Encore Dance Studio as a dance teacher and the Bourbon County School System as a para-professional teaching many classes for children of all ages.

Work Experience: I have worked for PSP since the Spring of 2011. I also have experience working with children by baby-sitting, doing my student teaching and through my practicum classes.
Profile: I am going to be married in July and then in December 2013 I will graduate with my BA in Elementary Education!

Business Manager/Music Teacher
Name: Mr. Andrew
Hometown: Too many to name them all, but eventually I settled in Millersburg, KY
Education: Studied Elementary Education & Christian Ministries at Lindsey Wilson College
Work Experience: I have worked as a Camp Counselor, Art Teacher, barista, cafe guy, musician, salesman, and Customer Service Rep. In 2008 I helped my wife start her own business: Pleasant Street Preschool. In 2011 she helped me start my own business: Postscript Media & Marketing.
Profile: I am married to my best friend from high school and father to an awesome baby boy. I like traveling, playing the guitar, golfing, photography, reading and design.
Fun Fact: My wife and I are currently renovating our 132 year-old house.
